Charlotte Davis

Charlotte Sather Davis began studying yoga in 1995, and has taught since 2006. After studying in India in 1998, she concentrated her training in the Iyengar tradition. She has trained with many senior Iyengar teachers including Dean and Rebecca Lerner, Patricia Walden, Joan White, and Ingela Abbott. She also holds an advanced certification in Relax and Renew Restorative yoga, and specializes in Prenatal yoga. From her own experiences in class and in home practice, she has developed a course of yoga designed for Plus Size individuals. Her compassionate and energetic teaching focuses on yoga as a mode of self-exploration and stress relief. She believes every body can benefit from, and can truly enjoy the art of yoga.

Plus Size Yoga -

This a class dedicated to the needs of rounder individuals, or anyone who has wanted to try yoga but has been intimidated by the svelte-bodied, aerobic approach to yoga so prevalent in our culture.  This course will be completely accessible for beginners, but will also offer alternatives for those who have taken yoga before.

Mom and Baby Yoga -

 This a wonderful class to ease back into exercise following birth, and is an excellent opportunity to bond with your new baby and other moms.  This course will be completely accessible for beginners, but will also offer alternatives for those who have taken yoga before.  Suitable for new and returning yoginis, and for babies who are not yet walking.  It is advisable to allow 3 weeks after natural delivery or 6 weeks after cesarean before beginning this or other exercise.

Wednesday @ 6:15pm (60 minutes)

Mixed Levels -


This class will introduce students new to yoga or the Iyengar method to the fundamentals of a yoga practice, including the physical practice and its philosophical foundation. We will focus on the principals of alignment, muscular action, and breathing. Each week's class will be tailored to the needs of the individuals, exploring both active and restorative poses. This course will be completely accessible for beginners, but will also offer alternatives for those who have taken yoga before.

Schedule Changes:Mom and Baby Yoga, Plus Size Yoga, and Beginning Yoga will be offered with Charlotte starting August 1.

Private lessons are also available.
